I have been working on conceptual gardens since 2002 when I installed 'The Concrete Garden' at the Westonbirt International Garden Festival.

Less of a garden and more of a large-scale sculptural installation, these works invite people in and visitors inhabit the spaces created just like they would use a garden.  Not all contain plants, but all have a connectedness to place and explore  genius loci, environmental and social concerns.

CURRENT Work

A 500m diameter installation of desert stone in Saudi Arabia, a circle, merging and emerging from the desert, a portal and a territorial marker.
